The History of The Cunts From Drogheda

Dyslucsic are:
Kevin 'Spud' Murphy (vocals)
Shane 'Menaney' McEnaney (vocals & guitar)
Johnny 'Intensive' Kerr (drums)
Kenn 'Flight of the Navigator' Bell (bass).

Meself (Shane) and Spud met Johnny in Man Fridays beergarden one night, we were stoned and he was locked holding a bottle of bulmers in each hand kicking people indescriminatly with his Kappa scangers jacket on. We started jamming in early 98 then, I think. It was in Johnnys granny flat at the back of his gaff.

Our first bassist was Robert 'Ten Thumbs' Reay who went on to make it big in Japan with 'Sing Monkey Sing' the musical. He was last seen sweating outside a Vietnamese primary school with Gary Glitter.

Then enter 'Mr.Dead' Ollie Smyth, who was our bassist in 'The Guilty Parties', which myself and spud were in a year before, joined us in late 98 . In late 99 Johnnys girlfriend had a baby and Dyslucsic was put on the back burner for a year or two. Then the snakey cunt joined Scavenger who at this very moment are sucking cocks in hell. Anyway Dyslucsic formed back together in 2002, i think...and we recorded the first album "An Dog On An Wall" with Boris in Fatdog Studios, Duleek, which was mostly old tracks we wanted to get down and afew new ones. We demented that poor chaps head with stress for a whole weekend. We tried to counter-act it with smoke, it seemed to work. We gigged to promote that album (hardly!), then in 2002 poor Boris kissed his mind goodbye when we went back to torment him again and record
"Dyslucsic 2: Idin Idout - The Turd Place". It was after that we parted ways with 'Mr.Dead" (Ollie). He went on to start 'Lung Butter' with some other fine degenerates, even though he died 3 years ago. He still holds a grudge to this day because we never went to his funeral.

Our current bassist is none other than Kenn Bell, who played with Johnny in their old band 'Cisco Pike', he has also played with cover bands, the likes of 'Thin as Lizzy' through to 'Bonfire'. We first met Kenn outside St. Peters Church one night rooting at himself with haste. And the rest as they say is history.

Gig Updates

As of yet we've no gigs planned, as we're "polishing off" the new material for the new album "Dyslucsic 360: God Looks Down On Your Sort". So we'll update you whenever the bongs are laid to rest....so hold your breath. If you've any problems take them up with our manager (pictured below).
